The Fumbly Workshop

Lately, I spent more time working on woodworking projects than technology projects. I found that I needed to spend more time moving around rather than sitting at my desk typing. Starting back in 2024, I started adding woodworking posts to this site, talking about projects I built or cool jigs I created using my 3D printer.
As I approach retirement (I'm not that close yet), I realized I would likely publish a lot more woodworking posts so I decided to create a separate site for my woodworking posts. The site is called The Fumbly Workshop and I launched the site yesterday.

About the Name
You're probably wondering about the name. Well, one of my favorite Science Fiction writers is Poul Anderson and in a book back in the 1950's he made a reference to fumbly diddling around. Fumbly Diddle quickly became the name of my software company then Fumbly Stuff became the name of my LLC. When it came time to launch this site, I decided to stick with the theme and call it the fumbly workshop.
What's Next?
Right before I launched the site, I copied over all of the woodworking posts from this site to the new one. I thought I'd delete them from here, but decided to leave them in both places.
I have a few new posts queued up that I'll write and publish soon. I also plan on focusing on tutorials on the new site as well as product reviews.
Check out the site when you get a minute.
